Mother Nature is victorious again

After the rain last week, the track crew worked hard to prepare the track for action. The Monster was in tip-top shape on Saturday afternoon but, with the threat of rain, staff under-watered the track so it was able to take on some rain and survive. Race crews started to arrive around 4 p.m., and with the threat of rain looming, PPMS lined up the race crews outside of the pit gate. At 5 p.m. the track was still dry, but the sky was ominous and within fifteen minutes, the track was pounded with a thunderstorm, forcing a cancelation for a second week in a row. About an hour later a second round of storms rolled through, dumping even more rain on the Monster. If you purchased tickets for 5.12.18 they are good for the remainder of the season at face value. Hopefully mother nature will allow for racing next Saturday. The new makeup date for the Diehl Automotive RUSH Late Models and the Black Label Business Center Open 4's from 5.5.18 will be on 5.26.18.
