Inaugural Betsy Kriegisch Memorial for the RUSH Sportsman Modified Dirt Series up next at PPMS

Imperial, PA

Join us at PPMS this Saturday, September 1, 2018, for the inaugural Betsy Kriegisch Memorial for the RUSH Sportsman Modified Series. Betsy was a racer's wife and mother of two beautiful daughters, Chelsie and Jessica, who both race in the RUSH Sportsman Modified Dirt Series. She was such a kind-hearted woman that was well liked by all. Her warm smile left a lasting impression on you. Betsy knew the back side of racing when it came to the lows and highs that racing gives you. She was a simple woman that would give you what she had and this race is just that...to give back to the racers. With the generous donations from drivers, teams, and fans, the Betsy Kriegisch Memorial is set to be the highest paying RUSH Modified event to date for the series. It should be an exciting night of racing and family entertainment with Chelsie Kriegisch (10) and Chas Wolbert (C3) tied for second in RUSH Modified points at PPMS in 2018. C. Kriegisch (10) and Wolbert (C3) both have 446 points, which is only five points behind the leader and 2017 RUSH Modified champion, Kole Holden (2), who has 451 points.

PPMS will also be featuring the TRD Super 6 Late Modes, the Diehl Automotive RUSH Late Model Dirt Series, PPMS Pro Stocks, the Keystone Coach Works Hobby Stocks, the Three Rivers Karting Young Guns, and the Open Four Cylinders. Race teams will be allowed to enter the pits when they arrive but everyone must have a wristband when the ticket booth opens. Gates Open at 5 p.m., hot laps begin at 6 p.m., and the racing action begins at 7 p.m. The race format for the 2018 Betsy Kriegisch Memorial is as follows:

  • Pill Draw & Pre Race Tech; tech will close at 6 pm
