MIKE REFT WINS A RAIN SHORTENED ROHRICH RUSH LATE MODEL FEATURE

Imperial, PA

A dramatic change in the weather shorted the night at Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Six divisions rolled into the pits during the warm late afternoon. The night was to feature the Rohrich RUSH Late Models, the RUSH Sportsman Modifieds, the PennOhio Pro Stocks, the Cheplic Packing Hobby Stocks, the Crawford Auto Repair Open 4 Cylinders and the All Ways Safe Young Guns.

Mother Nature threw a wrench into those plans. Out of the six divisions, only the late models ran a feature. A half of a feature at that. Of the 20 laps scheduled, the field completed just 11. That was the magic number for Mike Reft as the race was deemed official. Thus giving Reft his first feature win this season.
