35th Pittsburgher - $30,000 to win! Opening day APRIL 29th. RULES for 2023.

Great news, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series 35th Pittsburgher, 75 Laps, is scheduled for September 30th, 2023 & will be $30,000 to win! Despite the increase in purse and price increases on everything we use, the plan is  to hold the line on admission pricing. This makes the 35th Pittsburgher one of the best entertainment values in the Pittsburgh Metro Area. Save the date, the National Stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series are coming to Pittsburgh!

The Action Event Opener is scheduled for April 29th, 2023. The 2023 schedule will be similar to 2022 anchored by our 5 weekly divisions,

Rohrich RUSH Dirt Late Model Series,

Penn Ohio Pro Stocks,

Cheplic Packing Hobby Stocks,

All Ways Safe Young Guns,

Crawford Auto Repair 4 Cylinders

with several visits from others including Sprints & Modifieds. If your Series would like an opportunity to host an event or your company would like to sponsor a special event please send the details to contact@ppms.com for consideration.

2023 Rules

The rules posted on the website, www.ppms.com are the rules for each division. Miley Motor Sports is not planning any rule changes so the website remains the same. Should rule changes occur, all are alerted and the website is updated. We will continue to follow the rules of the respective sanctioning bodies. Although not SCDRA, 4 cylinder rules are basically the same as SCDRA. Young Guns will remain the same, however, we are allowing newer model cars with the same motor as the older cars. Please contact tech at contact@ppms.com to verify a car is eligible. We do not want these cars going any faster.

That leaves Hobby Stocks. Miley Motor Sports does not plan on changing Hobby Stock Rules. However, Vince is gathering information on Hobby Stock Rules to see if there are areas for improvement.
We believe we may end up further defining rules we already have so everyone has the same interpretation. Please give your input to Vince, he has graciously offered to gather this information. Negative comments waste everyone’s time. Please take it seriously, hopefully we all have the same goal of making the division the best it can be. This is the opportunity for the race teams that race Hobbies to be heard, then we will sort through it.
